The Emlyn Hughes International Soccer Video Game

The Emlyn Hughes International Soccer or EHIS is a computer generated soccer game which was introduced to the market in 1988 by Audiogenic Software Ltd. This game as you can see is named after Emlyn Hughes who is a popular English Footballer of all times. The program of the game was done by Graham Blighe with the addition help in terms of codes by Michael McLean. The game was originally included on the Commodore 64 with other produced versions for ZX Spectrum, Atari ST, Amstrad CPC and Amiga.

Since its first release, it was acknowledged to have the most realistic simulation of football that has ever made. It made outstanding reviews from sports enthusiasts and in particular from ZZAP! 64. Critics acclaim the game with a positive grade and gave high ratings from different magazines in the sports industry. The game stayed in UK computer game charts for more than three years but until now being patronized by avid players for almost 20 years from its first release.

This International Soccer game features an arcade style action experience and lively management of the sport's aspect. It also offers an optional mode which you may deliberately limit your controls in order to imitate the available restricted options of the game. The game gives a very understandable introduction which may help to highlight the enhancements that are done to extent the controls.

The game also includes a 5 direction option. This also includes the basic running, shooting and kicking style but at the same time have the advance method which may give an additional intensity and realism to the game.
