Do Lottery Systems Improve Your Chances?

I play the lottery regularly hoping to win the big one. So far I am not a lottery millionaire. About 2 years ago I set out to improve my chances of winning using my computer. I wrote an advanced pick 3 lottery software tracking system for my own personal use. It worked so well I now sell them on eBay.

Tired of always losing on the Lottery I spent hundreds of hours writing a software program to track all the winning numbers.

Hoping that this would give me the edge I needed to win for a change.

It did just that, I can not win every game I play and have not hit any giant jackpots. But I have cashed more winning tickets since tracking the winning numbers in the last year then all the previous years combined. Playing smart works, knowing what numbers have come in and what numbers are really over due makes a difference in how you bet and your chances for a win.

There are 1,000 possible numbers in the pick 3 game. 720 are non-repeating numbers, 270 are doubles and 10 are triples, all 3 matched numbers.

I have had good luck waiting to play until a long string of single non-repeating numbers are picked. Then I play double number picks. I have also had good luck doing this in reverse after a long string of double numbers are picked. After 5 double number games in row. I play non-repeating numbers for several games. Tracking numbers has worked well for me in the low odds games pick 3 and pick 4. The big money games are another story, there are so many possible numbers I have not improved my game much at all.

But for a multi million dollar game even a slight edge is better then no edge at all.

Good luck to all, hoping you win the big one. Michael Geller Webmaster Fun with your PC

Tips For Playing the Lottery Online

Most of us would love to win the lottery but few have been so lucky. The results of a lottery are determined entirely at random and we cannot influence the outcome. However, there are a few strategies and techniques you can use - and a few mistakes to avoid - that can help maximize your chances of winning when you play the lottery online:

1) Know the Website Rules - Before you decide to play the lottery online, it is important that you know the specific guidelines and rules of a particular lotto website to ensure you are adhering to the rules. Make sure you know the criteria under which a player can be disqualified and read any terms of service before you agree to them.

2) Keep your Receipts - Keep any receipts you receive when purchasing a lottery ticket online. This will serve as proof of purchase, which is especially important if the site you are playing sites that require players to present the receipt when the ticket purchased has won a prize.

3) Choose Random Number - Don't restrict your chances of winning by choosing superstitious numbers (such as your birthday or anniversary date). Also, choosing only odd, even, or prime numbers is not a wise decision either since many people use that very same method for selecting their numbers - decreasing your winnings if those numbers are actually selected since you will have to share the jackpot. Use a "quick pick" features which quickly selects numbers at random for you.

4) Evaluate Your Odds of Winning - Certain lotto sites offer much higher odds of winning than others. For example, your odds will be lower if there is a greater amount of numbers to choose from and a smaller amount of numbers you need to choose.

5) Go for the Bigger Jackpots - If two lotto sites have the same odds of winning, it only makes sense to opt for the site that offers the bigger jackpot amount. However, this doesn't mean you should always go for the bigger jackpot (see the above tip).

6) Pool your Resources - Two tickets double your chances of winning while three triples it. Consider inviting a couple of friends to purchase tickets and if one wins, you all split the jackpot, leaving everyone with a smile.
